Gaye & Roddy: Neo-Classic Blues Performance
When accompanied by Roddy, they often don their tuxes and come alive cabaret style mainly performing songs from the 1920s and ‘30s. They also present “edutainment” explaining the historical content in old blues songs. They have done many of these presentations for the U.S. State Department in Ghana, Togo, Jamaica, Montenegro and other Eastern European countries.

Gaye sometimes performs with an additional acoustic guitarist (pictured to the right and in video, below, with John Freund). They perform many of Gaye’s new and old originals, as well as covering some traditional blues favorites.
